“This is the season she will make beautiful things. Not perfect things but honest things that speak to who she is and who she is called to be.” – Morgan Harper Nichols
What if this is not only the season that you will make beautiful things, but the season where you embody the energy of summer to fuel the life you want to grow and live?
We will gather together virtually the weekend after the Summer Solstice to call in the energy of summer, and to invite the energy to fuel our creativity. This will be a weekend filled with community, nourishment, writing, reflection, and connection.
I will admit to you, summer is not my season. The heat, the stickiness, the bugs – these things are not for me. This retreat is not so much a celebration of summer itself but of the energy of summer (more about that below). Perhaps this is my way of attempting to reach out and make friends with summer. Maybe that sounds like something you’d like to do to (or maybe you already love it and what to dive deeper in a new way).
Who is Becoming Summer For?
This retreat is open to everyone who is interested in exploring the energy of summer, expanding their creativity, and coming together for a weekend of community.
You’ll know this is for you if you get a zing in your body or a sense of curiosity around the idea of embodying the energy of summer and calling forth that energy in tangible ways.
This is for you no matter where you are in your life at the moment, but most especially if you feel yourself on the precipice of something new and are looking for some energy to help uncover what remains unseen and to help move you forward.
What is Becoming Summer?
Everything has a cycle to it, and a season is no different. In Becoming Summer, we will explore the cycle of summer, how we feel it in the season and each day, and how we can carry the energy of this cycle with us throughout our lives.
When I think about the Cycle of Summer I think of the duality, and so we will explore both the expansive energy of summer, and the cooling energy of summer. We will move through this cycle throughout our days together, and throughout each component of our days.
The idea that nature is reflected within us is an important concept to me, so we will explore how this cycle is present in our lives, and where we can strengthen it and really lean into this energy as a generative force.
We will explore summer energy through ritual, nourishment, meditation, movement, and writing.
There will be opportunities to turn inward as well as to feel what it is to be held within community.
REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED. SELF-PACED VERSION COMING SOON!
When is Becoming Summer?
Becoming Summer will take place virtually June 25th – June 27th.
More details about the schedule will be coming soon. I am working to make sure that we get to explore all the powerful facets of the energy of summer and making sure that there is time to integrate as well.

A note about pricing
There are three tiers of pricing for the retreat. The regular cost is $250. I recognize that for some people, a more accessible option is necessary, and so there is an accessibility tier (no questions asked) of $175. Finally, if you are in a position to help support the community and those who may need to make use of the accessibility tier, there is a community support tier of $325. If you need a payment plan, please email me and we can work something out (total must be paid in full before the event).
