Receive weekly mantras and musings notes

WelcomeThis new space has been in the works for a while, and I am thrilled to be able to share it with you.

I wanted to take a moment to write about the why behind this new online home.

The question of why is one that I have been steeping myself in a lot recently, because to me it offers a simple path to the truest answer, even if it takes time to uncover.

The idea of simplicity sums up this new space pretty well.

As I have been focusing more time and energy on the malas, I have been reminded yet again how overwhelmed I feel when I am splintering my energy in many directions.

Yes, all of the aspects that have been part of my work over the last seven years have a place in Sacred Becoming, and at the moment, they do not all have a place in my life and in what I offer.

Again, the why is simplicity.

I wanted to created a space where you could come and look at the malas, read my words, and feel a sense of sacredness. If and when the other elements get added back in, there will be a home for them here.

It can be scary letting go of parts of ourselves that no longer resonate in the way they once did. That’s part of what the journey of building this site taught me. It is also where my meditation practice, and the malas themselves, have given me strength.

The path of Sacred Becoming is one that is ever shifting, and we do not necessarily know what that will look like. It can lead us somewhere, and by the time we get there, our sense of where we want to be may have changed dramatically. That can feel frustrating, but it also serves as a reminder that we are ever changing, that there is no real destination to reach for. When we can settle into that feeling, we can embrace the ebb and flow of this journey of Sacred Becoming, and we can know that in some ways, we have been where we’re going all along.

The practice of meditation has given me the space to be with who I am in any given moment, to let everything but that moment slip away for a little while, and to return to the world around me feeling a bit clearer about who I am, what I value, and how I want to live this life.

The work of creating malas has given me so much (you can read more about parts of that throughout the site). I am glad to give it my full focus, and I hope you are glad to witness it.

I invite you to take a look around, reading old words, viewing new products (new mala styles and the mantra decks are in stock!), and to come back whenever you need a way to reconnect with who you are as you travel this path.

With so much love and gratitude,

Xandra
